Description

Cast as two separate forms — body and lid — each poured independently and finished to sit flush by weight alone. No thread, no clasp, no mechanism. The lid stays closed because concrete is heavy. It opens when you decide it should.

Use for a ring, a spare key, a stone you kept for no reason, a folded note.

Technical Details:

• Portland cement · fine sand · Sika latex bonding agent · fibreglass reinforcement. Sealed with Sikagard for water resistance. Rubber feet. Gray Matter stamp on base.
• Not food grade. Do not use for edible contents.
• Hand-cast in Lagos, Portugal.
• Size & colour may vary.
