Description
A water shut-off valve, cast into concrete and excavated. The valve controlled something once. Flow, access, supply. Now it sits permanent and useless inside 10×10cm of raw grey concrete — the cavity broken open so you can see exactly what’s buried.
SCARCITY IS ENGINEERED is pressed into the exterior face.
Sealed with Sikagard 700S. Set on a driftwood base from the Algarve coast. Gray Matter stamp on the base.
